The season at the Tsinandali Museum opened with an exhibition dedicated to the work of Parajanov

Spring season at the museum-estate of Princes Chavchavadze in Tsinandali (Kakheti region, 105 km from Tbilisi) it opened with an exhibition dedicated to the work of the outstanding film director Sergo Parajanov.

The exhibition will be presented at the Tsinandali Museum for a month.

"The exhibition entitled" Fragments of Memory "brought together the works of Sergo Parajanov and the set designer Goga Alexi-Meskhishviya and showed the work of these two artists in a special perspective," the organizers note.

On the opening day of the exhibition, director Uta Bekaya staged a performance – models in costumes inspired by the work of Parajanov, revived the characters of his paintings in the historical garden of the Tsinadadali estate.
