The number of people infected with coronavirus in Georgia has reached 148
The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Georgia by the morning of April 3 is 148. The data was updated on the government website StopCoV.ge.
During the day, the number of laboratory-confirmed infected people in Georgia increased by 18, which is a new record. The illness of four people became known during the day on April 2. 14 new facts have been confirmed since Thursday evening.
The number of recovered patients increased from 26 to 27 overnight. Currently, doctors are conducting 119 active cases of the disease.
The first case of coronavirus infection in Georgia was recorded on February 26. Epidemiologists predict that cases of infections will grow. The peak of the coronavirus epidemic is expected in mid-April.
Currently, 5,550 citizens are in quarantine, and 281 people are under medical supervision in hospitals.
