Georgia successfully trades - foreign trade turnover since the beginning of 2019 increased by 1.4% compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to more than $ 11.5 billion (excluding unorganized trade), according to the materials of the National statistics service of the country "Sakstat".

Exports of Georgian products from January to November 2019 amounted to about 3.4 billion dollars - 11.4% more than last year.

At the same time, imports decreased by 2.3% and amounted to more than $ 8.1 billion.

The Ministry of economy and sustainable development explains the growth of exports by several factors, including the expansion of the geography of sales markets.

In particular, the government of Georgia is actively working on further growth and diversification of exports. The new free trade agreements contribute to the expansion of markets for Georgian products, diversification of export products and create the possibility of additional growth for export potential.
