“China is ready to further enrich the strategic partnership context with Georgia,” said the Chinese Ambassador to Georgia, Zhou Qian, at the briefing.

“I have repeatedly told Georgian reporters that China is ready to enrich the strategic partnership with Georgia further if it is based on mutual respect, mutual benefit and cooperation. China is ready to take practical steps if this contributes to the protection of international law and impartiality, peace, development and welfare.
Following the strategic partnership agreement between Georgia and China last year, political trust and practical cooperation results increased between the two countries. A visa-free travel agreement will be enacted at the end of this month due to joint efforts with our Georgian colleagues, and the frequency of direct flights will increase.
The projects implemented by the Chinese companies will assist Georgia’s economic and social development. China is ready to further enrich the strategic partnership context with Georgia in the new epoch of prosperity and revival for these two oldest civilizations,” he said.
