With the support of Yazidi informants, four ISIS terrorists were arrested in Nineveh
Ministry of Internal Affairs of Iraq announced that 4 ISIS terrorists were detained in Nineveh province with the support of Yazidi informants.
The agency's statement reads: "Under the direct supervision of the Deputy Minister of Intelligence and Federal Investigations, with the support of Yazidi informants and on the basis of directives that include the prosecution of the remaining terrorist remnants of ISIS, the special services units responsible for combating terrorism in Nineveh received information related to the presence of four wanted persons in accordance with the provisions of article four of the Anti-Terrorist Code.
An intelligence working group was immediately formed to gather information and conduct the necessary investigations, and with the help of Yazidi informants and an accurate ambush, four wanted defendants were arrested, and during the investigation they admitted their affiliation to the terrorist group ISIS, as the detainees themselves report, they were to receive sums of money for the terrorist attacks. Their testimony was recorded and transmitted to the relevant authorities to prepare them to appear before the court in order to receive a fair punishment".
