European Georgia " issued a statement in connection with deputy salaries. According to the party, members of "European Georgia" Shalva Shavgulidze and Armaz Akhvlediani did not provide their bank details to the Finance Department of the Parliament.
"Since Elene Khoshtaria and David Bakradze were deputies of the previous parliament, they were automatically credited with the parliamentary salary. Elene Khoshtaria returned the money to the state treasury, and David Bakradze used his parliamentary salary for New Year's charity, helping low-income families, " the report says.
At the same time, the party explained that Tariel Nakaidze will transfer the deputy salary to activists fighting against the regime of Bidzina Ivanishvili.

According to the regulations of the parliament, the salary of an ordinary deputy will be 4,624 lari ($1,400), but if he holds any position in the parliament, the salary will be even higher:
* Chairman of the Parliament – 6740 lari;
* First Deputy Chairman of the Parliament – 6400 GEL;
* Deputy Chairman of the Parliament – 6340 lari;
* Chairman of the committee, chairman of the faction – 5540 GEL;
* First deputy chairman of the committee, first Deputy chairman of the faction – 4800 GEL;
* Deputy Chairman of the Komi Republic
