The United States, Britain and Estonia discussed Russia's cyberattacks against Georgia at a closed session of the UN security Council. According to American media, during a meeting behind closed doors, representatives of the international organization for the first time discussed the issue of cyber attacks.

As the permanent representative of Estonia to the United Nations, Sven Jurgenson, said, it is clear who committed the hacker attacks.

"We can clearly see that the Russian military intelligence service carried out hacker attacks to harm the daily life of the Georgian people. These hacker attacks are part of Russia's destabilizing campaign against Georgia, " Estonia's representative to the UN said.

However, the Estonian official said that these actions contradict Russia's statement that it is a responsible player in cyberspace.

According to us media, the issue of cyber attacks was discussed as a separate issue at a meeting of the UN Security Council for the first time.
