Tbilisi city hall broke the contract with the owner of the exclusive right to manage Parking in Stalitsa.

The transport company of Tbilisi paid the company C. T. Park 4.3 million lari (about 1.3 million dollars) and received its material assets, so the litigation between the mayor's office and the company ended, according to the first channel with reference to the capital's government.

The Tbilisi city hall terminated the contract with C. T. Park, which has held the exclusive right to manage Parking in the capital since 2007, on April 10, 2018. In response, the Company went to court to get a 25 million lari ($8.7 million) penalty for early termination of the contract.

According to the Tbilisi mayor's office, she managed to reach an agreement with the company, and the company withdrew its claim. Under the terms of the agreement, the transport company of Tbilisi paid 4.3 million lari out of the income received as a result of Parking management in Tbilisi. In return, C. T. Park transferred all tangible assets to the company.

In 2014, the former mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava, who signed a contract with the company, was charged with embezzlement of funds using his official position on a particularly large scale for the agreement with C. T. Park.

The investigation alleges that Ugulava, who served as mayor of Tbilisi in 2006-2013, took advantage of his official position and gave C. T. Park an "inappropriate advantage", which was expressed in artificially increasing the company's revenue by misallocating public funds.
