An OECD event will be held in Georgia in March

In the second half of March 2020, Georgia will host the organization for economic cooperation and development's "OECD Eurasia Week 2020" event. As reported, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of regional development and infrastructure of Georgia Maya Tskitishvili met with a delegation of the Organization for economic cooperation and development. The OECD delegation was headed by Andreas Schaal, Director of the global relations Secretariat. At the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for deepening cooperation between the OECD and Georgia, as well as issues that will be considered in the framework of the upcoming "OECD Eurasia Week 2020".
The event, which will take place in the second half of March in Georgia, will be attended by more than 400 delegates. The main topic of discussion will be the strategy for the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Georgia.
The goal of the Organization for economic cooperation and development is to contribute to improving the economic and social well-being of citizens.
OECD experts, in collaboration with the government, study production, trade and investment flows around the world, analyze data and set international standards in various fields.
