There is no doubt that almost half of Yazidi youth live with the Diaspora in Europe, especially in Germany, where there are those who immigrated with their family and those who immigrated without family, after which they were included in the law on family reunification. There are some who are still alone in the process of starting a family.

Many Yazidis have immigrated and left their homes, and there are several reasons for emigration, and the most compelling reasons are the genocide of Yazidis committed in August 2014 by the ISIL terrorist group in the city of Shangal, Sinjar. Many Yazidis have immigrated, leaving money, property, and jobs in the past, and they fear the unknown future that awaits them. Yazidis from Iraq settled in most European countries such as Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Austria, Belgium, France and others, and some of them agreed to live in Australia, Canada and America. over several years of integration and study, Yazidi youth developed in many areas of life and exerted an effective influence on the local and working circles.

It is clear that all Yazidi and non-Yazidi families must have an interpreter during verification in official state structures and courts. This is why many young Yazidis work as translators for the Kurdish and Arab communities.

Scientific progress

Schools and attention to the academic aspect are one of the priorities of developed countries. The education system is a fully equipped and state - developed topic. Refugees have the right to education, just like other citizens. Various departments and fields of science and knowledge, today we see and hear among our youth in the Diaspora that they are graduating from institutes and universities. They become professors, teachers, engineers, lawyers, doctors, pharmacists, and so on, thereby serving society as a whole.

Drivers

Most of the refugees get car driving permits to drive their personal cars and work as drivers for companies.

Cooks

Working in restaurants, hotels and cafes, our young people today have professional cooking certificates and service permits from the smallest to the most luxurious restaurants. There are also many young Yazidi people who have their own restaurant establishments where they work with their families and naturally, as expected, pay taxes to the state and do not need financial social assistance.

Buying and selling (opening stores)

Today we see that Yazidis own various types of stores, starting with phone stores, equipment stores, places in food markets, hairdressers and auto repair shops, up to boutiques with gold products, in all regions of their residence, in all countries of the world.

Art

This is an important aspect of human life, and, accordingly, we find that many young people adhere to art as a source of livelihood and Hobbies, such as singing, also the art of drawing, plastic art, jewelry, design and photo, video art, etc. Yazidi youth are very talented.

Sport

This is important for the health and aesthetic aspects have attracted the attention of Yezidi families. Today, most young people are engaged in bodybuilding, there are sports that participate in most school events and at the level of local and non-local clubs, receive valuable prizes and cups for their level and high sports results.

Two jobs

"Double shift", i.e. work in two places, in the morning and in the evening. Of course, this is hard work, but it provides a good income and improves the financial situation of the refugee.

Humanity and helping others

One of the most important characteristics of Yazidis in the Diaspora is teamwork and fraternal solidarity, reaching out to the needy, students and the sick. On social media, we often see campaigns to raise donations to help Iraqi Yazidis return to their families and the Yazidi community.
