We own the port of Kulevi, which is located on the Black Sea coast in Georgia. We can expand this port as well. This will further strengthen and consolidate our cooperation. In the direction of Baku-Tbilisi railroad we will increase productivity five times and will do everything for this," President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said during his working visit to Georgia.

According to him, all joint projects are of great importance not only for the South Caucasus, but also for the Eurasian continent.

"We have huge plans in energy, transportation and other areas. We have already created successful projects and initiatives. I think there is no need to name them, everyone knows them. We have jointly implemented energy transportation projects. Today we are doing everything to ensure energy security in different countries. And here we are deepening our cooperation. This is part of our agenda. We will participate with great pleasure in the infrastructure projects that were discussed, whether it is the port of Anaklia or any other direction. We own the port of Kulevi on the Black Sea coast in Georgia. We can expand this port as well. This will further enhance and strengthen our cooperation. In the direction of the Baku-Tbilisi railroad, we will increase productivity fivefold and do everything for this purpose. This will be the largest component in the direction of development of our Middle Corridor. In the direction of energy, which is a traditional direction and sphere, we have already talked about green energy. And here Georgia and Azerbaijan, two brotherly nations are working in coordination with the European nations, and in the coming months we will finalize the feasibility study of this project. I am sure that very soon we will be able to achieve tangible results in the form of investments that are already planned, and it will be in the direction of energy, green energy pipeline, corridor that will strengthen our energy security, security of Georgia, Azerbaijan and partner countries. All these projects that are being realized in Georgia, Azerbaijan and our partner countries are of vital importance not only for the South Caucasus but also for the Eurasian continent and we are ready to direct our efforts in this direction. Our political will is very great to utilize and expand the existing infrastructure to develop our friendship and strategic partnership. We will be able to do it," Aliyev said.

At the same time, the Azerbaijani President spoke about Georgia's progress, noting that the country is "confidently developing".
