Citizens of Georgia or stateless persons with a permanent residence permit who have been working illegally abroad for more than a year or have applied for asylum and returned to their homeland less than 12 months ago will be able to participate in the program.
The Agency for Internally Displaced Persons, Ecomigrants and Providing Sources of Livelihood is launching a program of assistance to Georgian citizens who have returned from emigration to their homeland, according to a statement on the agency's website.
In total, at this stage, the agency will finance 100 projects that will help former migrants get a source of funding and a job at home. At the same time, grants will be issued both for the start of your business and for its expansion.

Applications will be accepted until September 10. After that, a special commission will consider each project and make a decision on it.
The maximum amount of financing is 4 thousand lari.
All applications are evaluated according to the following criteria: experience and abilities for the implementation of the project, its feasibility, the criterion of sustainability, risks, financial part, the need for a source of income and the history of migration. For each criterion, the commission assigns points from 0 to 2, and the application that receives the maximum possible points will receive funding.
