The Director of the staff of the us Senate foreign Affairs Committee (Chris Socha) arrived in Tbilisi.

A senior official from Washington discussed the current political situation in Georgia with Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia, other government officials, leaders of political parties, speaker of Parliament Archil Talakvadze, members of Parliament, representatives of civil society and international non-governmental organizations. The official report of the Senate Committee on the results of the meeting in Tbilisi was distributed by the us Embassy in Georgia.
