At this stage, according to the classification of the European center for disease control, Georgia remains in the so-called green zone, that is, in a low-risk zone, but, of course, there is a risk of infection, since there is a connection with China and about 4-5 thousand people come every month. Therefore, the country is doing everything possible to prevent infection and, if it appears, to provide emergency care to patients.

For this purpose, an appropriate algorithm has been developed, and the revenue Service has distributed in three languages the text of recommendations developed by the world health organization and us, which is distributed to people coming from China, especially from the city of Wuhan and the province of which it is the capital. They need to get acquainted with them, and if they show symptoms within two weeks after arrival - high fever, headache, sore throat, shortness of breath, cough, you need to contact medical institutions, including the designated four medical institutions-infectious diseases hospitals in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi and Zugdidi," Gamkrelidze said.
