The ruling Georgian Dream party has announced it will hold a public gathering in front of the Parliament of Georgia on April 29, responding to the request of its supporters.

“The draft law ‘On transparency of foreign influence’ is still being reviewed. However, it’s evident that this year, radical opposition only managed to mislead a small portion of the population.

The peak attendance of the rallies organized by the political opposition reached 9,500. The multi-million USD investment by Kezerashvili, Khazaradze, and the untrustworthy donors of rich NGOs to bolster the radical opposition has not yielded the desired results. The Georgian society is now politically mature enough that no amount of money can mislead it.

According to sociological studies, the support rating of Georgian Dream exceeds 60%, while the only opposition party surpassing the threshold has just a 12% rating. Given this backdrop, the politically bankrupt radical opposition, rich NGOs and the so-called president claim to speak on behalf of the people, which rightfully irritates our supporters and the vast majority of Georgia’s population.

In response to the request of our supporters, we will hold a public meeting in front of the Parliament of Georgia next Monday, April 29.

We urge all patriotic citizens across the country to say no to the influence of black money, attacks on the Orthodox Church, political interference with religious content, LGBT propaganda, drug propaganda, the discrediting of state institutions, radicalism, and so-called polarization financing.

We cannot allow a politically and morally bankrupt political minority to manipulate and claim to represent the people. We will demonstrate where the great majority of the Georgian people stand, those who cherish truth and genuine European values, those who value our traditional national values—heritage, language, and faith.

Let’s together say no to black money and yes to transparency, the genuine European path, and an independent, sovereign Georgia!” the Georgian Dream states.
