Zurab Azarashvili meets Robin Dunnigan

The Minister of Labor, Health and Social Protection, Zurab Azarashvili met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Georgia Robin Dunnigan.
According to the Ministry, at the introductory meeting, the head of the ministry thanked the ambassador and the American government for supporting Georgia on the path of EU integration and the contribution made to the development of the healthcare system.
"The issues of IDPs and the current situation in the country in terms of labor conditions were discussed at the meeting. Zurab Azarashvili emphasized the approved regulations on safety and health requirements at the workplace, which provide for first aid at various facilities.
It should also be noted that as a result of the establishment of the system of supervision over the observance of labor safety norms at workplaces, the number of people who died as a result of industrial accidents at workplaces has significantly decreased. The minister informed the diplomat about the works carried out to improve the living conditions of the IDPs. According to him, by the end of 2025, the state will provide housing to 13 thousand IDPs", the Health Ministry said.
