Tbilisi Botanical Garden due to the deterioration of the weather moved to April 8 and 9 to admire the cherry blossoms.

April 8 and 9, from 12:00 to 18:00, "Japanese corner. Admission to the Botanical Garden: 4 GEL for adults, 1 GEL for pensioners and students, 50 tetri for schoolchildren, children under 6 years old are free.

Three years ago, the alley of 100 saplings brought from Japan was laid in Tbilisi Botanical Garden. The trees were donated to the capital by the Japanese Embassy.

For the Japanese, admiring the nature is part of the folk tradition and is called "hanami". At different times of the year, the inhabitants of the Land of the Rising Sun contemplate the blossoming of lilies of the valley, sunflowers, tulips. But first of all, hanami is associated with the blossoming of the cherry blossoms.

In Tbilisi, the Botanical Garden is closed at night, so you can only admire the cherry blossoms during the day.
