Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili met with the President of the European Council Charles Michel and the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of France Catherine Colonna during her visit to Brussels, where she arrived from the United States.

Charles Michel wrote on Twitter that at a meeting with President Zurabishvili, he once again confirmed the EU's support for Georgia's European path and welcomed the role of Salome Zourabichvili in promoting the aspirations of the Georgian people. He also noted that providing Georgia with a European perspective is a historic opportunity that should not be missed. Charles Michel also stressed the importance of continuing reforms.

According to the French Foreign Ministry, Minister Colonna expressed support for the process of Georgia's integration into the EU and stressed the importance of continuing reforms to strengthen the rule of law in order to obtain the status of a candidate for EU membership. She also welcomed the ruling majority's decision to withdraw controversial bills on "foreign agents" and noted that any initiatives that could damage the unity of Georgian society should be implemented with caution.
