Negotiations on direct flights between London and Tbilisi are underway

Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Mariam Kvrivishvili discussed the possibility of resuming direct flights from London during the meeting with easyjet.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, at the meeting it was noted that the restoration of direct flights will increase the flow of tourists to the country.

"We had a number of important meetings in the framework of the exhibition, but I would single out easyjet, with which we are now negotiating a direct flight connection between London and Tbilisi. Great Britain is of course a very important tourist market for us and having direct flights will especially contribute to the growth of tourist flows", the Deputy Minister said.

The Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia holds bilateral meetings within the framework of the London International Tourism Exhibition.
