What does Ulimdar mean?
Ulimdar means “religious scholar.” A learned person or religious scholar; the term is used for people recognized for knowledge of tradition.
Yazidi religious offices and hereditary relationships are specific institutions, not direct equivalents of similarly translated offices in other religions. The English gloss is functional and intentionally brief.
