Dear readers, today I would like to tell you about another talent of our people, the artist Leila Rozhki.
Leila's paintings are painted with soulful and sensitive tenderness, which conveys the illusion of reality to the audience. Especially if you look closely at Leyla's paintings, which convey the pain of the Yezidis of Shangal, the pain of those who fled from the hands of terror in August 2014.
A little bit about the talented artist:
Leyla Rozhki, a very talented and at the same time modest Yezidi, was born in Georgia, in the city of Tbilisi. Leila started drawing at the age of 5, but no one in the family paid much attention to this talent of the girl. After graduating from school, the girl entered the University at the Faculty of Medicine, and after graduating from it, Leila migrated to Greece. In Greece, Leila opened her own small business related to the design business. In parallel with all this, the girl did not stop creating new paintings.
After the events in Shangal in August 2014 and the large outflow of Yazidi refugees from Iraq to European countries, Leyla got a job as a volunteer in an organization for the reception of refugees in Greece. Then to a large charitable organization as a translator. It was these events in Leyla's life that led us to witness her new works, because it was communication with those who were left without everything, with those who witnessed the atrocities of terrorists, with those who lost loved ones and relatives that prompted the talented girl to convey the heartache of those who survived the genocide with the help of her brush.
The works of Leila Rozhki amaze with their sincerity, in fact, without which art is unthinkable.
