Celebration in honor of the anniversary of the opening of the temple "Tausi Malak and the seven angels"
An event dedicated to the anniversary of the opening of the temple "Tausi Malak and Seven Angels", built at the expense of the Yezidi philanthropist, national hero Mirza Sloyan, was held in the village of Aknalich in Armenia.
The event was attended by Mir Hazim Tahsin Said-beg, Lalesh ministers, Deputy Rustam Bakoyan, Governor of Armavir region Ambartsum Matevosyan, Yezidi and Armenian clergy, officials, public figures, and guests from different countries.
The event dedicated to the anniversary of the opening of the temples was organized by Roman Mirzaevich Sloyan. The children of the late Mirza Cholojevich continue to develop the projects of their father, who made a huge contribution to the preservation and development of Yezidi spirituality, traditions, and culture.
On the eve of the holiday, religious rites were held in the temple by priests from Lalesh, accompanied by the reading of prayers and kavls. And today they visited the grave of Mirza Cholojevich, paying tribute to his memory.
September 29 became a kind of pilgrimage day for all Yezidis. On this day, thousands of people gather at the temple complex in Aknalich. The event ended with a performance of musicians and folk dances.
