A local resident, who wanted to remain anonymous in fear of the local authorities and the police, said that: «Whether finances will be plundered, whether funding will reach the construction of our village Kocho remains a big question. Over the past eight years, millions of dollars have been directed from American and European sponsors to restore Sinjar, but, unfortunately, there are no changes, as you can see for yourself, all the settlements where the Yezidi population lived are still in ruins».
