According to Otar Kurtsikidze, Deputy head of the Department of Geology, 35 families are subject to eviction due to landslides in Guria.

According to him, relevant studies and assessment of residential buildings are continuing, eight field groups of the National Environmental Protection Agency are distributed in the municipalities of Ozurgeti and Lanchkhuti.

"According to the data for today, residential houses and household plots of 80 families have been evaluated. According to preliminary estimates, 35 of them are subject to eviction.

Relevant studies are ongoing. The number of estimated residential buildings will increase. 8 field groups of the National Environmental Protection Agency are distributed in the municipalities of Ozurgeti and Lanchkhuti. We have full coordination with the Emergency Management Service and we respond to all requests, the situation is assessed on the spot. Appropriate conclusions will be prepared for each of these residential buildings and homesteads," Otar Kurtsikidze said.
