Museum of Wax Sculptures dedicated to the victims of the 2014 ethnic cleansing of the Yazidi people

A wax museum was opened in a Sinjar district with the support of Yazidi activists to depict the destruction of a Yazidi village by ISIS terrorists. People in this village lived peacefully and did not expect an attack by ISIS terrorist gangs in 2014. The museum depicts moments of children playing in the streets, women baking bread, and men going about their daily business, all destroyed in an instant by gunfire and bomb blasts.

Visitors to the museum did not expect to see such realism of events and many people were shocked by what they saw, so realistic the wax sculptures looked. Those present could not hold back their tears as they were so impressed by the scenes depicted in the wax sculptures.

Leaving the museum most visitors come to the conclusion that this terrible tragedy, this genocide of the Yazidi people should be known by the whole world.
