Unfortunately, Georgia's compliance with the EU foreign and security policy has dropped from an already low 44% to 31%. This is really a concern for us and it is all very unfortunate.
In addition, let me reiterate that the UN International Civil Aviation Organization urges the Georgian government to be generally cautious about the level of security in the Russian aviation sector."

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on May 10 lifting restrictions on flights to Georgia, which had been in effect since July 2019. The Kremlin's decision to lift the ban on air travel to Georgia and simultaneously the visa regime was welcomed by the Georgian government, but was met with extreme concern by the president, the opposition, and Western partners.
The first flight from Moscow will land at Tbilisi airport on Friday for the first time in nearly four years - the Russian airline Azimut was the first to receive permission to fly.
