On the initiative of Yazidi activists in the village of Ria Taza at the Shehubakr Temple, a colorful event called "We are in Our Home" was held to celebrate national minorities. The purpose of the event was to introduce the culture, national dishes and traditions of Yazidis through competitions and exhibitions by Yazidi schoolchildren from various Yazidi villages of Armenia.
The schoolchildren presented their national culture with songs, national dances and treats.
The Aragatsotn Governor's Office awarded diplomas to Ria-Taz, Alagyaz, Sipan, Sadunzi, Shamiram, Jamshlu, Shenkan, Jarjaris, Avshen, and Kaniashir schools.
