False reports are spreading in Sinjar about attacks on mosques in the region.

Yazidi human rights activists and activists confirm that the spreading reports of attacks on mosques and religious sites in Sinjar are sabotage and provocation.

Yazidi population has never in history attacked Muslims, much less Muslim mosques, unlike Muslim radicals who destroy Yazidi temples and kill the population.

Local resident and activist Ali Agha stated that "Sinjar has been and remains a symbol of the coexistence of religions. Yazidis represent the majority of Sinjar's population, and with these false rumors someone deliberately wants to pit Muslims and Yazidis against each other in the region. Despite the war and genocide of Yazidis, the largest in history in all its painful forms, Yazidis live in peace and harmony with members of other nationalities.

The activist reiterated his concern for the security and stability of Sinjar, the scene of terrorism and the return of ISIS cannot be repeated."

According to Yazidi activist, government measures to normalize the conditions of return and rehabilitation procedures, security checks were weak, very slow and even questionable, creating a state of panic and fear among returning and constantly living in fear Yazidis.

Ali Agha called on the government to fulfill its duty and comply with its obligations to enforce the law in Sinjar, expel illegal gangs, achieve social justice and conduct security checks on those returning to Sinjar, legalize the Yazidi self-defense units and admit to the police as promised local Yazidis who had passed exams and were certified.
