Visit of representatives of the Spiritual Council of Yazidis of Georgia to Sinjar

The head of the Spiritual Council of Yazidis of Georgia, Dmitri Pirbari, and Sheikh Rostem paid a religious visit on April 10-16 to the Lalesh Temple and the surrounding areas and shrines of Sinjar, such as Bashika, Bakhzani, Khetar, Sheikhan, and others.
Dr. Majid Hassan accompanied the guests from Georgia during their visit to Sharfadin Temple. In addition, Dimitri Pirbari and Sheikh Rostem visited Mount Shangal to see the state of the Yazidi villages at the moment.
Also, representatives of the Spiritual Council of Yazidis of Georgia visited also the village of Kocho, where Dimitri Pirbari said a prayer at the Kocho Martyrs' Cemetery in memory of the victims of the 2014 Yazidi genocide.
