An ISIS terrorist who took part in crimes against the Yazidi population was convicted in France
Jonathan Jeffrey was an ISIS terrorist who participated in battles against the peaceful Yazidi population, including taking part in terrorist attacks inside Europe. Jeffrey joined ISIS in the Iraq-Syria region in 2015.

During the interrogation, Jeffrey, 40, spoke about his journey to ISIS: "When I arrived in Syria in February 2015, I was proud to be there. We were building our own world."
Taking full responsibility, he added: "I admire ISIS because they have occupied a large territory. This magnitude of power nourished me, it completely captured me at that time. I was proud of the possession of weapons, permissiveness, I felt good, I liked to kill, rape, enslave. I met a lot of people there from all over the world just like me. I don't repent. And to be honest, over time, having comprehended everything, I don't care about the Islamic state at that time, I just wanted to kill, although I left under the pretext of intending to help the Syrians persecuted by Bashar al-Assad, but in fact I never helped them".
A French court has sentenced ISIS terrorist Jonathan Jeffrey to 18 years in a maximum-security prison.
