The activity shown by the hard work of the only Yazidi human rights organization in Armenia deserves all outside support. Problems in the field of the rights of national minorities, educational programs and trainings for Yazidi youth give hope that the Yazidi community in Armenia will be able to take the path of stability and gradual strengthening. After all, it is no secret to anyone that in recent decades the shattered and divided Yazidi community has begun to lose its identity, its cultural and national codes. Against this background, the light of hope that appears at every event is aimed at the development and strengthening of the Yezidi community, which is doubly pleasing.

"The Yezidi Center for Human Rights", despite the difficulties of the situation around it and the obstacles to its activities, was able to establish a positive work. Of course, there is also the role of international organizations and missions of the democratic world, which have shown interest in the Yazidi community in Armenia. The support of the aspirations of the Yazidi community from the United States, European countries and international foundations began to bring real results.

Thus, on October 12-13, "The Yezidi Centre for Human Rights" held a training course for employees, members of the guardianship and trusteeship commission and police officers of Kotayk and Ararat regions within the project "Capacity building of civil servants at regional level on prevention of early marriages among Yazidi community". The participants were introduced to the concept of human rights, the essence of the rights of children, women and national minorities and the importance of protecting them, the alternative strategy for preventing early marriages in the Yazidi community, the specificities of protecting the rights of Yazidi women, etc. The acquired knowledge and skills will help civil servants to make their work more conscious, sensitive and effective in addressing the problem of early marriages in the Yazidi community. The project is implemented by the "The Yezidi Centre for Human Rights" with the financial support of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Armenia.

In October 2022, a new project of the "The Yezidi Centre for Human Rights" was launched. On October 9, an intercultural quest was held in Alagyaz together with the "NigMa" quest club, in which Armenian and Yazidi youth took part. At the end of the event, the opening of a youth club for Yazidi youth was announced. The project is implemented with the financial support of the Prague Civil Society Center.

Very important from the point of view of enlightenment and education are the courses for journalists and students of journalism, dedicated to the coverage of national minorities and their problems, the courses were held by "The Yezidi Centre for Human Rights" on October 14-15 in Tsaghkadzor. During the trainings the participants got acquainted with the topic of minority rights, the importance of protection of identity and effective participation of national minorities, studied not only the problems of national minorities, but also effective and correct approaches in the coverage of minority problems. Izabella Sargsyan, Director of the Eurasia Partnership Foundation's Program on Human Rights, opened the course, giving a general overview of the national minorities living in Armenia. Director of the National Union of Youth and Sports Muraz Shamoyan spoke about the Yazidi people in the 2nd part of the course, touching upon the problems and importance of the protection of the rights of national minorities and the problems of their realization. The participants, along with journalist Shushan Sakunts, discussed the work of "Hirat Media" and reflected on the coverage of national minorities in Armenian media. On the second day of the meeting, the participants discussed the mistakes and gaps in Armenian media coverage of the lives of national minorities by working together with IRC Public Relations Officer Sose Zakaryan. The meeting was concluded by Hayk Abrahamyan, President of the Coalition Against Discrimination and for Equality. He spoke about the measures to counteract harmful manifestations of public opinion on national minority issues. The course was held under the program "Minority Media for Multiculturalism and Tolerance", funded by the European Endowment for Democracy (EED).
