Official meeting with the leaders of the Yazidi media in Kurdistan

An official meeting was held at the American Consulate of Iraq between the consul and the heads of independent media in Kurdistan. The parties discussed some issues related to press freedom and support for independent media.

The US is considered one of the supporters of independent media in Kurdistan, in order to support different opinions and work to improve the image of independent Yazidi media, the leaders have enlisted more support.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the Yazidi media meet with international ambassadors and consulates in Iraq to urge them to support media platforms that independently cover the situation of representatives of the Yazidi minority and also work to make the whole world aware of the plight of national minorities living in Iraq and Syria.
