The Supreme Yazidi Spiritual Council in Iraq issues a series of instructions and guidelines for visitors to Lalish-Nurani Temple
In order to organize religious ceremonies in the Lalish-Nurani temple, the Supreme Yazidi Spiritual Council gives visitors a number of instructions.
Mr. Ali Khader Elias, head of the office of the Supreme Yazidi Spiritual Council, announced that a series of instructions had been collected and issued to organize visits to the Yazidi temple (Ziyarat) of Lalish-Nurani on weekdays and holidays.
The instructions are designed to ensure that holidays and events take place in a beautiful and suitable position for the temple. The administration of the Temple urges all visitors to observe the rules regarding the sanctity of the Lalish-Nurani Temple. Such as:
1 - It is strictly forbidden to bring or consume alcoholic beverages in the temple.
2 - All visitors to the temple should wear modest clothes.
3 - Take off your shoes when entering the temple.
4 - It is forbidden to bring musical instruments and take slippers in your hands.
5 - It is strictly forbidden to bring weapons into the temple.
6 - Maintaining cleanliness in the temple.
7 - It is strictly forbidden to smoke, bring and use hookah and accessories to it on the territory of Lalish.
