Rehabilitation center for children with autism, built with US money, opened in Rustavi

A rehabilitation center for children with autism spectrum disorder, built with US money, has opened in the city of Rustavi.

This was reported by the press service of the Rustavi City Hall. The center is designed for 150 beneficiaries. It was created on the basis of the Rustavi Municipal Center for the Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities "Kesane".

The cost of the project was approximately 780 thousand dollars.
“This center is vital to the children who will receive the services they need at this facility today.

This is a fully equipped, colorful center, and I think that Rustavi will be an example for other cities as well,” US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan said at the opening ceremony.

Governor of Kvemo Kartli Giorgi Dokhturishvili, in turn, pointed out that the opening of a new rehabilitation center in Rustavi is important not only for the city, but for the entire region.
