There is no water in the Yezidi villages of Hakko and Gyalto in Armenia, and local residents' complaints are ignored
In Armenia, in the settlements inhabited by Yezidis, namely in the villages of Hakko and Gyalto of Talin district of Aragatsotn region, water problems have not yet been solved. All requests and complaints of local residents are simply ignored by local authorities and all this has been going on for 15 years. If the villagers are provided with water, then only for half an hour or an hour, and the next water supply occurs only in 20-30 days, which is why the local population keeps water for drinking in barrels and canisters.
According to the head of the village of Hakko, as soon as the journalists arrive, they give water for a few hours and then it all comes back the same way it was. The Tallinn Water Management Department does not respond to complaints and does not meet with residents. According to the former heads of Gyalto and Hakko, there is a special reason why water does not reach these villages, namely, in the villages located above, potato fields are irrigated with drinking water.
And so, nowadays, seemingly in a developed country, there is a similar problem and this problem concerns only the Yezidi population of Armenian villages.
