Georgia and Thailand will resume charter flights
Georgia and Thailand will resume charter flights from October 2022, said Tea Zakaradze, director of TAV Georgia, in an interview with bm.ge.
Regular charter flights between Bangkok and Tbilisi will be operated by Thai AirAsia X, a subsidiary of Asia's largest low-cost carrier AirAsia X.
«According to preliminary information, the airline will operate flights on the Bangkok-Tbilisi-Bangkok route twice a week on Airbus 330 aircraft», — said Zakaradze.
Thai AirAsia X already has experience in the Georgian aviation market. In 2019-2020, the airline also operated charter flights between Bangkok and Tbilisi.
