A loaf of bread has risen in price from 1.20 to 1.40

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said that there are "more than enough flour reserves in Georgia" and there are no grounds for hype.
"There are more than enough flour reserves, there are also wheat reserves in the country, and in just a month and a half we will already get our wheat, we will harvest it." — said Garibashvili.
The Government heard detailed information from the Minister of Agriculture on the situation in the country with wheat and flour.
Georgia has recently switched from wheat purchases to flour due to a jump in prices. Representatives of flour mills said they were on the verge of closure and demanded that the authorities act.
The prime minister said that the demand of industry representatives to introduce a tax on flour will cause an increase in bread prices, which is unacceptable.
"The hype was caused absolutely artificially; our country has no problem today. There are more than enough flour reserves, there are also wheat reserves in the country, and in just a month and a half we will already get our wheat, harvest it. The issue was politicized by a certain small group, and the hype was created artificially," the Prime Minister concluded.
