Al-Kazemi promises Yazidi survivors retribution for ISIS
Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi addressed the surviving Yezidi women on the occasion of the anniversary of the adoption of the "Law on Survivors" of the Yezidi Genocide. The Prime Minister confirmed that the aggressor would be punished by sending a message to the political forces regarding the formation of a government.
"It is a great honor for me to be among you today, a year after the parliament adopted the "Law on the Survivors" of the Yezidis, this is a great progress on the path of freedom and democracy. I thank the government and the authorities for the adoption of this law. The crime committed against Yazidi women will remain a great disgrace in the history of the ISIS terrorist groups, and all obscurantistic groups claiming to rule with outdated ideas, which indicates the danger of their abolitionist ideology," the Iraqi Prime Minister said.
Al-Kazemi also stressed the need to work together to prevent a repeat of what happened, and this is possible only with good government management, to avoid a springboard for terrorist groups.
The Government and its special services continue their operations against everyone who participated in this crime, they managed to reach large groups of these criminals, and now some of them are in prison, while others have been convicted.
The Prime Minister called on all political forces to work and form a government that will work as quickly as possible to serve its people, including the surviving Yezidis, noting that "compliance with the law means respect for the constitution, respect for the logic of the state and respect for the needs of people."
According to the Prime Minister, the current crisis is political, and political detente means a state breakthrough, which means the need to form an effective productive government serving the citizen in these conditions in building security: "The citizen and the motherland are our responsibility, there are enough disagreements, we must work for the country and move to a new stage for the sake of the future and the sons of Iraq."
