During the meeting, Prince Hazim Tahsin Beg praised the efforts of the Government and people of Kurdistan to assist the Yezidis during the ISIS attack on Shangal (Sinjar) and its surroundings. The Emir of the Yezidis presented the demands of the Yezidis to have their representatives in the Kurdistan Parliament: "We, as Yezidis, are proud of the Kurdistan Parliament, so we ask him to step up his efforts to implement the agreement concluded between the Kurdistan region and the federal government," the office of the Vice-President of the Kurdistan Parliament said in a statement.
