A rally was held in Tbilisi against the increase in prices for municipal transport. Politicians and civil activists gathered on Freedom Square, next to the building of the former city Hall.
"The Georgian dream is suffocating us. It suffocates economically, the doubling of transport prices is just proof of that. This power should be written into history not as a power that helps its people, but as a power that strangled them," said Anna Dolidze.

Recall that from February 1, a system of unlimited public transport passes will be launched in Tbilisi. This was stated at a meeting of the city government by the mayor of the capital Kakha Kaladze. According to him, from January 5, special cards for the metro, buses and minibuses will be available at the metro ticket offices and at the express branches of Bank of Georgia.
