Asko Aloi presented his new national-cultural initiative
As part of the events dedicated to the Day of National Unity of Russia, the head of the "Yezidi National Cultural Center" Asko Aloi presented to the listeners of the radio station "Business FM" his new national-cultural initiative "Wisdom of the peoples of the Southern Urals", which received a subsidy from the Administration of Chelyabinsk.
"Wisdom of the Peoples of the Southern Urals— is an information and educational project aimed at popularizing the cultural heritage and value orientations of the peoples of the Southern Urals (on the example of the Chelyabinsk region). The project is being implemented in audio format in collaboration with the First Regional Media Holding (OTV), "Business FM Chelyabinsk" and the Assembly of Peoples of the Chelyabinsk region.
The project plans to prepare audio materials containing proverbs of the peoples of the Chelyabinsk region with translation into Russian, and their broadcast through the release of radio broadcasts. Asko Aloi shared details about the creation and progress of the project: "We decided to collect proverbs and sayings of the peoples of the Southern Urals. Our project is called "Wisdom of the peoples of the Southern Urals". Proverbs and sayings related to financial well-being have been collected for Business FM. We hope that the wisdom of the peoples of the Southern Urals will help listeners become even more successful and richer." As an example, Asko Aloi cited a favorite Yezidi proverb: "A house where there is a lot of gold is empty. And a house with a lot of men is strong." Happiness is not in money, but in friends and relatives."
The main basis for the development of the project was the materials of the Universal Ethnoencyclopedia of the Southern Urals, an interactive portal about the history and culture of the peoples of the region (a project of the Yezidi National Cultural Center, implemented with the support of a grant from the President of the Russian Federation), which will soon be available to Internet users interested in national cultures.
