Georgian universities provide a number of state-funded educational programs in specialties where there is a shortage of personnel.

The Ministry of Education of Georgia has determined the amount of funding for universities for free educational programs for students for 2021-2022.

Georgian universities provide a number of state-funded educational programs in specialties where there is a shortage of personnel.

Among such specialties are Georgian philology, history, archeology, primary school teacher, mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, construction, engineering, energy, architecture, agricultural and food technologies, forestry, animal husbandry, agronomy and so on.

During one academic year, no more than GEL 2,250 will be transferred to a higher educational institution for each student.
