The Victims ' Fund announced the beginning of the promotion of the consideration of compensation for the affected families (martyrs) in the village of Kocho in the Shingal district / Sinjar after identifying the remains of "104 martyrs" who were found in a mass grave in the south of the district.

According to the Director General of the Department for Victims of Terrorism and Military Operations of the Martyrs 'Fund, Tariq al-Mandalawi, after identifying the remains of 104 martyrs from the village of Kocho in Sinjar district, a joint group from the Martyrs' Fund went to the village to promote the provision of compensation to the victims ' families. Efforts are continuing to protect the rights of the Yezidi families of the village of Kocho.

The team is actively working with the relevant authorities to identify the remains of hundreds of Yazidi martyrs who were victims of the terrorist group ISIS, their remains are still buried in several mass graves, work is underway to identify them. The graves were discovered in cooperation with the forensic medical examination and other relevant authorities.
