Cultural event of national minorities in Armenia
A national-cultural event of national minorities living in the Republic of Armenia was held in the Youth Palace of Gyumri, Shirak region. During this event, each community presented its national clothing (costumes), paraphernalia, songs, achievements in Armenia, as well as national dishes.
The cultural event was attended by the Yezidi community, the Russian, Polish, Greek and Ukrainian communities of Armenia.
The President of the National Union of Yazidis, Khdr Ajoyan (Tamoyan), who attended the intercultural dialogue, noted the importance and significance of such events as achievements of the Yazidi people in Armenia and around the world.
The National Union of Yazidis expresses its special gratitude to the Gyumri Youth Palace, and especially to Lilit Makaryan, for helping to organize such an important event.
