Jens Stoltenberg: I will visit Georgia in the near future
I will visit Georgia again in the near future in order to further strengthen our partnership, - NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference in Brussels today.
"Georgia is a valuable partner of NATO. We deeply believe that Georgia, like all European countries and in general, all countries, have the right to choose their own path. I have been to Georgia several times, I will visit the country again in the near future in order to further strengthen our partnership. My message to Georgia is, of course, that reforms are important and that NATO is based on such basic values as democracy, the rule of law, and it is important that Georgia conforms to these standards on the way to Euro-Atlantic integration," said Jens Stoltenberg.
