Meeting of Yazidis in Germany on the creation of a memorial to the victims of the Yazidi genocide
В Ezidische Gemeinde West Münsterland e.V. the second meeting between representatives of the Yazidi community in Germany and academics, as well as academics, youth and survivors of the Yazidi genocide in Shangal. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss plans to build a memorial in Germany dedicated to the Yazidi genocide to preserve the memory of the persecuted and martyred Yazidis.
At the beginning of the event, Ibrahim Dagh, chairman of the community, called for a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the genocide. A committee of representatives from various groups was then formed to coordinate the construction of the memorial and gather ideas from all interested parties.
