According to the Georgian interior Ministry, 9 people were detained in front of the Parliament. The activists are accused of an administrative offense-misdemeanor hooliganism and insubordination to police requirements.

After midnight, the cleaning service of the Tbilisi city hall loaded the tents placed on the sidewalk near the Georgian Parliament building, where opposition civil activists held their actions, as well as Malkhaz Machalikashvili, who accuses the security services of killing his 19-year-old son.

Cleaners also took away protest paraphernalia-flags, a bust of Prime Minister George Gakhariya and banners. On one of the cars that took out the tents, climbed MP Elene khoshtariya-MP from the party "European Georgia" tried to prevent the car to leave. As a result, representatives of the company "Tbilservice group" had to remove the Deputy from the car.

After that, representatives of the civil movement "Sirtskhvilia" (Shame) began to gather in front of the Parliament, who are the organizers of the action near the Parliament, which began at the end of June and lasted three months demanding the resignation of George Gakhariya from the post of interior Minister because of the hard crackdown on the protest on June 20.

The activists brought a tent with them and wanted to install it near the Parliament, but the police forbade it. Between representatives of the "Searchfile" and the police there was a skirmish. As a result, the police detained Nodar Rukhadze, Zuka Berdzenishvili, Beka kokai, Beka basilai, zuru Mzhavanadze, Georgi Mumladze and other activists.

The mayor's office of Tbilisi, in turn, said that they are going to arrange attractions for children and a Christmas market near the Parliament. The mayor's office claims that they warned the participants of the action in advance.

"Without any resistance, we removed the infrastructure that was located at this place, which will be stored and after appropriate treatment will be transferred to the owners," the mayor's office told reporters.

Permanent protests have resumed in Tbilisi and other regions of Georgia since November 14, after the ruling party did not support changes to the Constitution in Parliament, providing for the transition to a fully proportional electoral system. In June, the party leader Bidzina Ivanishvili and other government representatives announced such an electoral reform, but then referred to the fact that some of the deputies of the "Georgian dream" are against it. After this turn, the entire opposition United with the demand to hold early elections under the proportional system. After criticism of European structures and the US state Department, the Georgian dream leadership agreed to hold consultations with the opposition to discuss alternative options for holding elections – without amending the Constitution.
