According to "Sakstat", the growth of inflation was most influenced by the rise in the price of food and soft drinks.
Statisticians cite data on price increases for individual product groups:
Food and soft drinks: in this group, prices rose by 13.4%, which was reflected in the annual inflation rate in the form of 4.02 percentage points.
Prices increased for the following subgroups:
fruits and grapes-30.3%,
vegetables and melons-16.2%,
milk and eggs-15.4%,
fish — 14.5%,
meat and meat products-13.1%,
bread and bakery products-11.9%
sugar, jams and other sweets-11.5%,
mineral and spring water,
soft drinks and natural juices-8.2%
coffee, tea and cocoa-3.9%
oil and fats-2.8%;
Alcoholic beverages, tobacco products: prices rose by 15.4%, which amounted to 1.03 percentage points in the overall inflation rate. Prices rose both for tobacco products-29.9%, and for alcohol-3.4%;
Leisure, entertainment and culture: prices increased by 7.0 %, respectively, the group's share in the annual inflation rate was 0.4 percentage points.
Prices rose for other long — term products related to recreation, entertainment and culture-11.6%, as well as for entertainment and culture services-1.6%.
Transport: this group recorded a price increase of 3.1%, which was reflected in the overall inflation rate of 0.37 percentage points. In the group, prices increased for the purchase of vehicles — 9.6%, transport services-3.0 % and the operation of personal vehicles-2.6%.
Hotels, cafes and restaurants: prices rose by 7.4 %. This segment was reflected in the overall inflation rate of 0.32 percentage points. Prices increased for catering-8.4% and service with accommodation-1.0%.
