About the Yazidis

Yazidis are those who believe in one God and his seven angels led by Tausi Malak, created by him to observe the rules and regulations of the Sharfadin religion.

Yazidis believe in one God. The power of God cannot be diminished or divided. Both Good and Evil are from God. There is no power above God.

In accordance with the Yezidi religion Sharfadin, fire, water, air and moon are sacred elements. In addition, husbandry and animal husbandry, as well as bravery and generosity, are also regarded as something sacred.

Yazidis also argue that each member of their community should have three qualities-truth, knowledge, shame.

With regard to other religions, the canons of the Yazidi religion state that there is some truth in every religion. Therefore, everyone should practice his own religion and be free to do so.
According to the Yazidi religion, a person who does not practice his own religion will never be a genuine supporter of another faith. Therefore, the Yazidis never accepted members of other faiths into their community and had no missionary intentions.
