Meeting of representatives of Yazidi organizations of the world
On September 29, in Armenia, on the territory of the Yazidi temple complex in the village of Aknalich, the largest meeting of representatives of Yazidi organizations from around the world took place in the post-Soviet space.
The meeting was opened by the initiator of its carrying out, the Chairman of "Ezidi Congress" Samvel Kochoi. In his short speech, he proposed to discuss the establishment of a body to coordinate the activities of the Yazidi organizations of the world, which could be called the International Confederation of Yazidi organizations. The meeting was further invited to Express its views on the matter.
After a lengthy discussion, the meeting agreed on the need to draft the Charter of the International Confederation of Yazidi organizations and discuss it during a special meeting of their leaders and representatives.
The meeting, which ended late in the evening of the same day, was attended by representatives of Yazidi organizations in Iraq, the United States, Germany, France, Armenia and Russia, including:
Khal Ali the commander of the Yazidi division "Fonja Lalis the detachment "Hashd al-SHAABI" (the forces of popular mobilization, Iraq);
Shukur Malham — the commander of the Yazidi of the order (the Armed forces of Iraq);
Omar Kato Dhar-Vice President of the Yazidi Progressive party (PPE) (Iraq);
Haidar Ilyas-Chairman of the International non-governmental organization Yazda (USA);
Murad Ismail-Executive Director of the International non-governmental organization Yazda (USA);
Dr. Irfan Ortach-Head of the Central Council of the Yazidis of Germany (ZED);
Dr. Temur hasanan the head of cooperation Centre of Yazidis in Germany (GEA);
Tamaz Dasni-Chairman of the Yazidi Federation of France;
Dr. Karim Suleiman-Advisor to the Supreme Spiritual Council of the Yazidis (Iraq);
Rustam Bakoyan-member of the Parliament of the Republic of Armenia;
Asko Aloi, Edward Avery, Mamad Mstoyan, Ruslan Jawoyan ("Ezidi Congress", Russia).
The meeting was also attended by members of the delegation of the Supreme Spiritual Council of the Yazidis of the world, who came to the Grand opening of the temple “Quba heft merê dîwanê u Tawûsê Melek”.
